About KaldLabs
KaldLabs is a blog and thinking space founded by Magnus Kald. It is a place to develop and share ideas at the intersection of value creation, strategy, and governance, written for those who work with these questions in practice, in research, or both.
The ambition is to bridge the gap between academic rigour and practical relevance. Posts draw on research, fieldwork, and executive experience to examine how organisations create value, how governance systems support or obstruct that process, and how strategic clarity can be built even in complex settings.
The current focus is on developing a body of thought, testing ideas in public, inviting response, and building a conversation with readers who share these interests.
Magnus Kald holds a PhD in Business Administration from Linköping University, with research published in European Management Journal and British Journal of Management. His background includes 20+ years as a finance executive in listed industrial and consumer goods companies across Northern Europe. He is a member of the National Coalition of Independent Scholars (NCIS) and is based in Stockholm.
